Grub Street blurb

11 Aug

We recently got a shout out in New York Magazine’s Grub Street section. In its entirety:

“Long Island City is about to get its first brewery in years, but Rockaway Brewing Company’s owners have a beachier target neighborhood in mind: Rockaway Beach, where they live. Since the once-humble seaside hood has been declared the Williamsburg by the beach in these very pages, that seems like a good move. Rockaway Brewing will offer its suds at Low Tide Bar at 96th Street and the Boardwalk the last weekend of the month, so squeeze that in between your tiki disco plans. And, closer in town, the brewery will start offering growlers to Hunters Point beachgoers soon.”

We’re not sure about the whole “Williamsburg-by-the-beach” thing, but press is press.
