It’s been a few weeks since we installed the two barrel system in LIC. We did a hot water run, we did a run at half capacity, and just yesterday, while you were out enjoying the beautiful weather, we were holed up in the brew cave running our first commercial batch.
Of course there were a few hiccups (which we are too ashamed to mention) leading up to this point. But brewing with this new system will see us fulfilling our first distribution run – an exclusive summer ale which will be on tap at the Rockaway Beach concessions. There will be a follow-up post detailing the steps from heating up the kettles to kegging the brew. And yes, that’s Marcus pictured stirring. He’s back!!!
